Post-Construction Cleaning in Rotterdam
Renovation dust doesn't disappear with a quick wipe.
We remove it properly.
Fine construction dust penetrates every surface — walls, floors, inside cabinets, fixtures. What looks clean after a renovation often isn't — dust settles inside cabinets, on frames and across every surface.
We work surface by surface with the right technique for each material. No solvents, no abrasives — just proper execution.
Not everything gets renovated
Most renovation projects update some areas and leave others untouched.
A new kitchen with the original bathroom.
New floors with the old oven still in place.
Those areas often carry years of buildup that the renovation didn’t address — and that standard post-construction cleaning usually doesn’t cover.
Before we start, we clarify together:
• Which areas were renovated and which weren’t
• Whether there’s limescale, grease or old buildup
• Whether wall cleaning is needed, depending on material
From there, you decide what should be included.
Unrenovated areas can be added as part of a deeper cleaning if needed.
The scope is agreed in advance — no assumptions, no surprises.

Most people underestimate
what construction dust actually does
Fine dust from cutting wood, tiles, drywall and plaster doesn’t stay on the floor.
It spreads into walls, cabinets, window frames and surfaces.
A standard vacuum and quick wipe doesn’t remove it.
That’s why many properties still feel dusty even after the builder’s cleaning.
We clean it properly — not just what you see, but what settles everywhere.

How we approach
post-construction cleaning
Construction residue — cement splashes, paint on glass, plaster on tiles — can often be removed, but it requires time and the right technique for each surface.
We follow a structured cleaning method to remove fine dust and residue properly — not just what’s visible, but what settles across the entire property.
What this means in practice:
• Paint on windows — removable with the right technique
• Cement or plaster on tiles — reviewed per material
• Fine dust on walls — treated without damaging paint
• Grease or limescale in unrenovated areas — cleaned separately
If something can’t be removed safely, we tell you before we try.

Transparent from the start
Post-construction cleaning takes longer than most people expect.
Every property is different — what was renovated, what wasn’t, and the actual condition of surfaces.
Before confirming the work, we first assess the information you provide and give you a realistic estimate based on your description.
Once on site, we review the property and confirm the final scope.
Not a fixed price we can’t keep — an honest assessment of what the job actually requires.
The more accurate the information, the more accurate the estimate.

About
-
Do you remove paint and cement residue?
We assess each surface before acting. Paint on glass and tiles can often be removed with the right technique.
Cement and plaster depends on the material. If something can’t be removed safely, we tell you first.
-
What products do you use?
We use professional, non-aggressive cleaning products suitable for post-construction cleaning.
We do not use acetone, solvents or abrasive products that could damage new finishes, surfaces or materials.
Our focus is on using the right technique and safe products for each surface — protecting what has just been renovated.
-
What if parts of the property weren’t renovated?
We handle it.
Those areas often require deep cleaning beyond dust removal. Each area is evaluated and included accordingly.
-
Do you clean walls?
Yes, if needed.
Wall and ceiling cleaning helps remove fine dust that settles on all surfaces after renovation.
When included, it reduces the amount of dust that can resettle the next day.
It’s not always necessary, but we recommend it depending on the condition of the property and the type of surfaces.
We assess it together and include it in the scope if required.
